After we brought you news about Datsun commencing deliveries of the Go hatchback from the 15th of March, the company has said that they will officially launch the car on the 19th of this month.

The Go is based on the  Micra platform and is Datsun's first assault in the entry-level segment. The company has said, in no uncertain terms, that the top-end model of the Go hatchback will be priced under the 4 lakh bracket and that is one reason why, there are a lot of people showing interest in the product.

The Go hatchback will be available only in the petrol variant for the time being. It will get the 1.2-litre 64bhp churning mill, which makes it the most powerful car in its segment. It will be available in three variants and will be sold via the existing Nissan dealerships in the country.

We've driven the Datsun Go and here is our review.
