Fiat has released a couple of photos with the 500X's production body. The pictures were taken in Italy at Fiat's Melfi plant where the vehicle will be produced on the same assembly line as the Jeep Renegade since both vehicles share the platform.
The Fiat 500X is a high-riding version of the 500 line-up. Now, this may not evoke emotions like Wow! but Fiat has tried to make the car look more appealing. The pre-production unit of the car which was seen in 2012 will be maintained and that is a bit of a relief.
The car will be revealed on the 4th of July this year since the date also marks the anniversary of the original Fiat 500.
