Ganesh Mani Appointed President and Chief Of Operations At Ashok Leyland

- Ganesh Mani will oversee Ashok Leyland's manufacturing operations and supply chain
- Recently resigned as Director of Manufacturing Operations at Hyundai India
- Mani has over three decades of experience
Commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland has announced the appointment of Ganesh Mani to the position of President and Chief of Operations. Mani’s role at the company will include overseeing the company entire manufacturing operations as well as manage the company’s supply chains.
Speaking on the appointment, Dheeraj G Hinduja, Executive Chairman, said, “I am delighted to announce this appointment as Ganesh brings over 3 decades of rich experience to Ashok Leyland and his expertise in the fields of Manufacturing Process, Strategy and formulation is well-known. He joins a strong leadership team and I look forward to him achieving our aspiration to be among the Top 10 Global CV players.”
Mani will oversee Ashok Leyland's manufacturing operations and supply chains.
Mani has considerable experience in the operations field having previously served as Director of Manufacturing Operations at Hyundai Motor India during a 6 year run with the company. He resigned from his position just last week. Mani also spent almost three decades with Maruti Suzuki rising to the rank of Vice President (Vertical Operations Control) when he left the company in late 2015. Over the years Mani has accumulated seven patents/copyrights to his credit for the special Manufacturing Processes.

Mani also currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry Chennai Zone.
