Harley-Davidson Discontinues Production of SuperLow

One of the most famous bikes from the Harley-Davidson line-up in the international market - the SuperLow - has been discontinued in the Indian market. Harley-Davidson India just confirmed that a new SuperLow will be replacing the previous generation bike sometime in 2016.
The new SuperLow will be powered by the same 883cc, V-twin, fuel-injected, air-cooled Evolution engine which is found in the current version delivering a peak torque of 70Nm at 3,750rpm making cruising at slower speeds a breeze. The new SuperLow has been given an all-new suspension to make the ride more comfortable than ever and the frame has been redesigned to give a lower centre of gravity to the bike for better handling. The rear suspension can be adjusted to suit the rider's style giving him more confidence.
The new Harley-Davidson SuperLow has a ground clearance of 100mm with a wheelbase of 1,500mm which will make it easy to ride it around the corners. The 120/70 18 tyre at the front and a 150/60 17 at the rear will provide adequate grip while cruising on the highways. A tank capacity of 17 litres will enable the riders to cover long distances without stopping often for refuelling.

The 2016 Harley-Davidson SuperLow will have a dry weight of 247kgs which might make it a bit difficult to manoeuvre it in Indian conditions. Harley-Davidson India has not confirmed the exact launch date and price of the 2016 SuperLow, but the possibility of it being showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo can't be ruled out.
