Jagmeet Gill And Chandan Sen Win Maruti Suzuki Rally Of Arunachal

- The team covered a total distance of over 700 km
- The TSD rally coincided with the Orange Festival of Adventure and Music
- It saw participants in the Maruti Suzuki Swift, S-Cross, Gypsy, etc.
It was Jagmeet Gill and Chandan Sen in the new Vitara Brezza who conquered the fifth leg of Maruti Suzuki National Super League TSD Rally Championship 2016 (MS-NStrdRC) - Rally of Arunachal concluded in Dambuk. The team covered a total distance of over 700 km from Itanagar to Dambuk to win the title as they competed against a total of 40 participants.

Commenting on the occasion, Vinay Pant, Asst. Vice President, Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India said, "The adrenaline-charged TSD rally championship has witnessed some extremely enthusiastic rallyists, exuding zest and passion."
It was for the first time that North East India was chosen for any Maruti Suzuki motorsport activities and the TSD rally coincided with the Orange Festival of Adventure and Music that added to the excitement of the participants. The winning ceremony was also graced by the Honourable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Mr. Pema Khandu at the Orange Festive in Dhambuk.

The rally saw participants team up in the Maruti Suzuki Swift, S-Cross, Gypsy as well as the Vitara Brezza, the newest offering from the automaker in the UV space. Speaking on his victory, Jagmeet Gill said, "It was one of the quaintest destinations I have been to. We are glad to have conquered the undulating terrain and witnessed the music festival on the sidelines too. We are looking forward to the final leg in Gujarat and maintain the winning streak."
The Maruti Suzuki National Super League TSD Rally Championship is yet another feather in the cap for Maruti Suzuki motorsports in India. With cross country rallies like Raid de Himalaya, Desert Storm and Dakshin Dare as part of Maruti Suzuki's motorsport activities, the National Super League TSD Rally Championship only adds to the exciting events in Indian motorsport. The MS-NStrdRC is a small format TSD rally championship that lasts over a span of three days and has been designed to encourage more and more motorsport enthusiasts to participate in the events. TSD rallies are already conducted in Indian National Rally Championship (INRC)
