JK Tyre President

JK Tyre & Industries Limited has announced appointing Anuj Kathuria as its new President (India). Kathuria will be reporting to Chairman & Managing Director (MD), Dr Raghupati Singhania and Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director. Kathuria comes with an experience of 31 years having worked in senior management positions across Indian auto companies like Ashok Leyland and Tata Motors among others. Kathuria is an Engineer by profession and a Post Graduate in Marketing & Finance from Harvard Business School. Moreover, he has worked overseas in auto sector as well.
Raghupati Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director, JK Tyre said "I am sure that Kathuria will provide adept leadership and lead JK Tyre on a new growth trajectory". Last year, JK Tyre also announced collaboration with Ki Mobility Solutions Private Ltd (KMS) to strengthen its retail presence across the country. Ki Mobility Solutions, a part of the MyTVS facility, has more than 1000 outlets and is also a leading digital automotive aftermarket platform. This value-added sharing of services through this partnership will augment product value through processes such as total wheel alignment, automatic tyre changing, nitrogen inflation, radial tyre repairs and more.
The company has also been expanding its range. A couple of months ago it launched four new offerings in the Off-the-Road Tyre Segment at South Asia's largest construction equipment event, Excon 2021 in Bangalore. Over the years, JK Tyre has introduced several hi-technological products for the Indian roads. New tyres like 45/65-45 58PR VEM 63 L5 TL, 14.00-24 GTL Champ 16 PR G3 TT, 12.00-24 Hard Rock Champion 20PR E4 TT and 16.00-25 VEM 045 44PR E3 TT have been added to their existing product portfolio, in a bid to expand its off-road tyre range.
