Lamborghini Huracan Launched in India at a Price of Rs. 3.43 Crore

Automobili Lamborghini has launched the all-new Huracan in India and has priced it at Rs. 3.43 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Huracan LP 610-4 is the replacement for the Gallardo and has already attracted around 1000 buyers worldwide in just two months. Lamborghini brings the car to India now to add on to these sales figures.
You might think that Indians do not have deep pockets, well the statistics show otherwise. Lamborghini managed to sell 14 units in 2011, 17 in 2012 and 22 in 2013, which shows the growth trajectory for supercars in India.
The company says that the Huracan LP 610-4 will add to this and aims to sell close to 30-40 units next year. Lamborghini has given the Huracan the same engine as the Gallardo and thus it comes powered by a 5.2-litre, naturally-aspirated V10 engine which produces 610bhp, which takes this supercar from 0-100Km/h in just 3.2 seconds, before topping out at 325Km/h. With the new hybrid chassis of carbon fibre and aluminium the car weighs in at a modest 1,422 kgs which makes it light and the engine thus makes it quick on its feet.
Lamborghini already has two exclusive showrooms in India - in New Delhi and Mumbai, but the growing demand of their cars has made them add another to their strategy list and the company will soon be opening a new showroom by the end of this year in Bangalore.
