Launched: Chevrolet Beat and Sail U-VA's Manchester United Editions
Unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, the Manchester United Limited Editions of the Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Sail have been finally launched in India. Built on the LS trims of the respective models, the special editions will cost Rs 69,000 more than the regular LS variants. The day also marked the unveiling of the Manchester United's jersey for the 2014-15 season.
Being the official automotive sponsor of the club, Chevrolet has launched both the hatchbacks in Manchester United's red colour along with some exterior and interior tweaks. The hatchbacks feature the club's signature on the bonnet, sides and inside the cabin. Other features include alloy wheels, special seat covers, music system, ORVM's with blinkers, and roof rails among other features.
The limited editions were designed by the company's engineers at the General Motors Technical Centre India (GMTC-I), Bengaluru.
