It gets the same 1.5-litre diesel mHawk100 engine as in the NuvoSport but it will be available only on the top end variant - T8. It was in September last year, that Mahindra and Mahindra launched the all-new TUV300 which was meant to create the sub-4 metre SUV segment and the company made certain that it made its mark there. It's now launched a more powerful version of the TUV300 which churns out 100bhp. It gets the same 1.5-litre diesel mHawk100 engine as in the NuvoSport but it will be available only on the top end variant - T8. What Mahindra has also done, is made the T8 AMT variant available with this engine as well. The more powerful variant of the TUV300 is priced at Rs. 8.87 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) Speaking on the launch of the TUV300 with the all new mHAWK100 engine, Pravin Shah, President & Chief Executive (Automotive), M&M Ltd. said, "At Mahindra it has always been our endeavour to incorporate consumer insights and feedback and hence we are happy to introduce the more powerful TUV300 with the mHawk100 engine. There's also a bump in torque available as there's now 240Nm of it. The 5-speed AMT has also been upgraded with more power and has been refined for smoother automatic gear shifts. The TUV300 will now be available in both the 80bhp and 100bhp variants with prices starting from Rs. 7.26 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai)
