A few weeks after the presentation of the Maserati Gran Turismo Folgore, the company's first electric, and the debut of the new Grecale SUV, Maserati is ready to present another new model and, as anticipated by the numerous clues dropped on social networks in recent days, this time it is about a Spyder. The name of what was previously known as the MC20 convertible reveals its sporting vocation and its peculiarity; MC is the acronym for Maserati Corse, 20 refers to 2020, the year in which the new era of the brand began, while Cielo clarifies that this is an "uncovered" model. The new spider is 100 per cent Made-in-Italy model, developed at the Maserati Innovation Lab in Modena, and will be produced in the historic factory in Viale Ciro Menotti, as will the coupé.

The new convertible will also be equipped with the very powerful 3.0-litre V6 present on the MC20 Coupé, it is a Biturbo engine with technology closely derived from racing, so many technical and mechanical solutions that from F1 have been poured into series production. Its power is 630 bhp @7,500 rpm for a maximum torque of 720 Nm available starting from 3,000 rpm. An open two-seater that will easily exceed 300 kmph as a top speed for a 0 - 100 kmph that will settle on 3 seconds.
