Michael Schumacher's Lawyer Reveals 'He Cannot Walk' In A Lawsuit

- Michael Schumacher met with a serious head injury during skiing in 2013
- A magazine had falsely reported last year that Schumacher took few steps
- Schumacher's manager confirmed that he cannot walk as claimed earlier
The update about Michael's health was made to the court after a German magazine claimed in later 2015 that the seven-time world champion was able to walk again being able to take some steps and was able to raise an arm with the help of therapists. The news however, was reported as false by the Schumacher family as there was no such improvement in the health of the driver.
At the time, Schumacher's agent, Sabine Kehm, released a statement denying the story, saying, "Unfortunately we are forced by a recent press report to clarify that the assertion that Michael could move again is not true. Such speculation is irresponsible, because given the seriousness of his injuries, his privacy is very important. Unfortunately they also give false hopes to many involved people."
The Schumacher family then decided to file a lawsuit against the magazine considering it was a breach of privacy laws.
Regarded as one of the most iconic Formula 1 drivers of all time, Michael Schumacher met with a serious skiing accident in 2013, a year after his retirement and was airlifted to a hospital placed in a medically induced coma for six months. He was later transferred to his home in Switzerland to continue his treatment.
Very little is known about Michael's current condition as the family has strongly protected his privacy and the latest news isn't pleasing either. Nevertheless, we wish to see him up and driving soon.
