Dhoni and the Indian Cricket team are in Zimbabwe for their latest tour. The Concours 14 ABS is one of the fastest accelerating super sport bikes and is used by the African nation for patrolling purposes. Clearly, the country's police force has some serious liking for power and the 14 makes for a brilliant case with its overwhelming power and reliability.

MS Dhoni's affinity Kawasaki bike is quite well known. The Ninja ZX-14R is already a part of the cricketer's garage and he was also one of the first owners of the Supercharged Ninja H2 in India. The Kawasaki Concours 14 showcased in Zbabwe is essentially a sports tourer version of the fantastic bike that draws power from a 1352cc inline-four cylinder engine that also powers the ZX-14R. The engine though is de-tuned compared to the 14R and is tuned to produce 156bhp of power and 140Nm. The motor comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. To give you perspective, the ZX-14R churns out 197bhp and 162.5 Nm of peak torque.

In addition to the detuned power, the Concours 14 is heavier by 45 kg and gets improved ergonomics targeted towards seating comfort. You also get an adjustable windscreen, luggage mounts for panniers, improved cushioning as well. Kawasaki Motor India sells the ZX-14R in the country but not the sports tourer version, given the limited numbers. The Japanese bike maker is one of the earliest global players in the country's premium bike segment and holds a strong position with products like the Z800, ZX-10R, among others.
