G B Pant High Altitude Zoo
Are you an animal lover? In that case, the G B Pant High Altitude Zoo is a must-visit for you! The zoo opened in 1984 and is spread across 4.6 acres. It resides at an intriguing elevation of 2100 meters above sea level. This zoo also happens to be the only high-altitude zoo in India.
Kainchi Dham
The Kainchi Dham is an ashram and temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Lush green hills surround this beautiful architecture temple. You can also spot a beautiful calm river alongside the temple. Also, Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs visited this temple!
Mukteshwar Temple
Mukteshwar Temple is yet another fascinating spot for religious visitors. This 30-year old temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is rumoured that the Pandavas built this temple. The temple is located approximately 51 km from the Nainital city. What's more, the temple allows visitors all through the year!

Snow Viewpoint
The snow-view point is by far one of our favourite attractions of Nainital. The spot gives you a perfect view of the snow-clad mountains of Nainital. When visiting Snow Viewpoint, don't forget to carry your binoculars and cameras. You can spot the magnificent Nanda Kot, Trishul, and Nanda Devi from this spot.
Bhimtal Lake
Nainital has its fair share of calm, tranquil, and serene water bodies. You can have a picturesque view of the surrounding on a boat ride on Bhimtal Lake. The lush green hills surrounding this lake make it an unmissable attraction. The best time to visit is between September to December and March to June.
