New Bumblebee Chevrolet Camaro Revealed

- New Bumblebee Camaro is based on the 6th Generation Chevrolet Camaro
- General Motors has custom designed the car for the new Transformers movie
- This car is the fifth Bumblebee Camaro since the first movie from 2007
It was just recently that the makers of the popular movie franchise - Transformers released the first teaser of its fifth instalment - Transformers: The Last Knight. Fans were just about getting over all the excitement, when the movie's director, Michael Bay has gone ahead and revealed the latest iteration of the Bumblebee Chevrolet Camaro. Currently in its sixth generation, this custom 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is also the fifth Bumblebee car in the franchise.
On Saturday, June 5, Michael Bay shared the first image of the fifth generation Bumblebee through his official twitter account. In his tweet Bay acclaimed General Motors for this exception custom-built Bumblebee 2016 Camaro. It was back in 2007 when we first saw Chevrolet Camaro donning the role of the sweet alien robot Bumblebee. The movie became one of the main reasons for the popularity and success of the fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro that went out of production last year. In fact the popularity increased so much that Chevrolet even created an official Bumblebee Edition Camaro for Fans to live their Transformers dreams. Earlier this year even Optimus Prim Truck and the Bumblebee Camaro from the last movie went under the hammer at an auctioning event by Barrett-Jackson Company.

While the technical details of this particular car are still at large, but as the Michael Bay tried to express in his tweet, Chevrolet really did an exceptional job with the design. Based on the new generation Chevrolet Camaro, the latest iteration of Bumblebee looks sleeker and way sharper than the older models. The yellow-black combination works really well this time as well and is further accentuated by the use of LED lights. The new custom bumper design truly does its part in adding an enhancing the aggressive persona of the car and so does the muscular character lines on the hood and side profile of the car.
Coming to the heart of this machine, clearly the engine of this Camaro is one of the top-spec ones but we are yet more information as to which one. That said, we believe this new Bumblebee Camaro is powered by the 6.2-liter motor of either the 454bhp LT1 V-8 from the SS or 640bhp LT4 supercharged V-8 from the new ZL1.
