Bipul Chandra, MD, Ducati India said, “The Ducati Streetfighter V2 is the new gateway to our sports naked family, perfectly amalgamating the Fight formula of the bigger Streetfighter V4 with the mechanics inherited from the more track focused Panigale V2. The Streetfighter V2 is fun, feisty, and the perfect street and track tool for a Ducatisti with cutting-edge electronics and an intuitive and easy-to-ride setup, built to guarantee oodles of fun whether on the street or the track. We couldn’t be more delighted to introduce it in India, and I’m looking forward to seeing the Streetfighter family grow in India.”
The engine of the Ducati Streetfighter V2 is the 955 cc BS6-compliant Superquadro, capable of delivering a maximum power of 153 bhp at 10,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 101.4 Nm at 9,000 rpm. Compared to the Panigale V2, the Streetfighter V2 has a shorter final ratio which guarantees greater torque to the wheel at road speeds while giving better engine responsiveness when re-opening the throttle.
