New Hyundai Tucson India Launch Details Announced

After the launch of the 2022 Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Motor India is readying the market debut of the new-generation Hyundai Tucson on July 13, 2022. The Hyundai Tucson has been in India since 2005, with the previous update coming in 2020. The new Hyundai Tucson will get a completely new design language for both its externals and internals along with a comprehensive update to its features list. The next-generation Hyundai Tucson sports a completely new design language, and the same will be introduced in India. The front styling of the new Hyundai Tucson sports the new grille with integrated LED DRLs, and LED headlights are all-new and so is the bumper. We also see more angular body cladding, blacked-out pillars with a floating roof, as well a new LED taillight design with an LED light strip across the tailgate. The elements like new alloy wheels contrasting coloured roof rails, and chrome surrounds on the window complement the overall design.

Inside, the new Hyundai Tucson will carry over the same layout and features as the global spec model, including a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluelink connected car tech, as well as touch controls for the climate control system, ambient lighting, e-parking brake, and a switch for gear changes instead of a conventional gear lever. The cabin will get the all-black upholstery as the global model with the possibility of Beige & Brown options as well.

At heart, the new Hyundai Tucson will retain the tried and tested 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol, and diesel engine options with transmission choices including a 6-speed manual and automatic, along with all-wheel-drive (AWD) in top-spec variants.
