New Lamborghini Countach Photographs Leaked Before Official Debut

- Lamborghini released teaser of the new Countach earlier this week.
- The new model remains true to the bold design of the iconic supercar.
- It looks bold and a bit muscular and retains similar elements as well.
From 1974 till 1990, the Lamborghini Countach was one of the most famous performance cars around and one of the most recognised automotive designs from the celebrated Italian car designer - Mercello Gandini. It was nothing less than an engineering marvel and still is one of the most iconic names in the supercar territory. Production of the Countach LP 400 started in 1974 and it was on sale till 1990, when the 25th anniversary edition of the model was manufactured. And 50 years later, Lamborghini is all set to introduce the new Countach which will be new and updated in all aspects, yet will be true to the original design and character. The Italian supercar maker had teased the new Lamborghini Countach earlier this week and now pictures of the new model have leaked online.

The new Lamborghini Countach will come with a V12 engine
The 2021 Lamborghini Countach does deviates a bit from Lamborghini's latest razor sharp design language. It looks bold and a bit muscular and those sleek rectangular LED headlights and a hunkered down front is very reminiscent to the classic Countach design. The roofline though is a bit higher and goes very well with the angular glass area. The rear too looks as pronounced and the taillight motifs are similar to what we have seen in the Sian.

The pictures also suggest that the new Lamborghini Countach will actually enter production and won't be limited to just a concept or even a one-off model. Then, the previous teaser has also revealed that the Countach will get a V12 engine, which we expect to be full-blown, in typical Lamborghini way, but further details on specifications and features are still awaited.
