New Skoda Yeti Facelift Launched; Priced at Rs 18.99 lakh

Skoda, the Czech Republic automaker, today rolled out the updated Yeti in India at a starting price of Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Launched in just one trim - Elegance - the car is available in both, 4x2 and 4x4, drive options.
Since it's just a cosmetic update, the new Yeti receives no mechanical updates. The changes given to the exteriors of the car are revised bumpers, LED tail-lamps, newly designed alloy wheels, bi-xenon head-lamps, new housing fo wing mirrors and different colour options for the roof. The cabin, however, remains largely unchanged, it gets a new steering-wheel that looks similar to that of the new Octavia's.

Coming to the engine options, the updated Yeti has been offered in a 2.0-litre TDI engine in two states of tune, the 108.5bhp for the 4x2 model and the 138bhp for the 4x4 model. The 4x2 version comes to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the all-wheel drive version is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
