New Toyota Innova Will Debut at Auto Expo 2016; Launch by Year End

The new Toyota Innova, which was launched in Indonesia in November, 2015, is scheduled to make an appearance at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The next-generation Toyota Innova's launch in India, however, will happen by the end of 2016. Toyota's 2016 model of the MPV is based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform and is lighter in comparison to the current model of the car.

The 2016 Toyota Innova's exterior design elements include an all-new grille, sweptback head-lamps, LED daytime running lamps, and new fog-lamps. It also sports pronounced wheel-arches, all-new rear bumper, and refurbished tail-lamps among other changes.

While the petrol motor puts out 137bhp along with 183Nm of peak torque, the diesel unit promises 147bhp and 342Nm (manual) and 360Nm (automatic) of maximum torque.
