Nissan Launches Subscription Plans For Nissan, Datsun Brands

- Nissan and Datsun cars now offered with subscription plans
- Magnite, Kicks and Redi-Go get multiple subscription plans
- Subscription service launched in Delhi NCR, Hyderabad & Chennai for now
Nissan Motor India has announced subscription plans for Nissan and Datsun cars in India. These plans will be available for the Magnite, Kicks and the Redi-go to begin with. The company will offer subscription plans for these cars in the cities of Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Chennai in the first phase/ Thereafter, the subscription service will also be launched in Pune, Mumbai and Bengaluru in the second phase. Nissan has partnered with Orix for the launch of subscription plans in India.

(The Nissan Kicks gets a variety of subscription plans as well)
The company says that these subscription plans come with benefits such as zero down payment, zero insurance cost and zero maintenance cost. Plus, there will be a buy back option as well. And in case you were wondering, even after subscription, the cars will continue to run white number plates. The customer will pay only a nominal refundable security deposit at the start of the subscription plan and then pay a fixed monthly fee basis of pre-selected tenure.

(The Datsun Redi-Go gets multiple subscription plans too)
Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Gambhir, managing director and CEO, Orix India, mentioned that "Car ownership patterns in India are changing fast and in the last few months, we have witnessed a clear bias towards personal transportation as against use of public transportation. The proposed subscription program aims to combine Orix's financial and operating capabilities with Nissan's unmatched product design and technology and the program will surely find a lot of customers choosing this vis a vis the other available options".
The subscription plans offered by Nissan cover costs like vehicle insurance, registration fee, road tax, RTO expenses and other maintenance costs including scheduled and unscheduled repairs, tyre and battery management, road side assistance as well.
