Ola Electric Begins Deliveries Of S1 Electric Scooter

- Deliveries for the first customers have begun in Bengaluru and Chennai
- First 100 customers have got hold of their Ola electric scooters today
- Ola electric scooters are priced from Rs. 85,099 (Ex-showroom, Delhi)
Ola Electric has announced on December 15, 2021 that the company has commenced deliveries of its S1 electric scooter. According to the announcement, the company said it organised special events in Bengaluru and Chennai to deliver both the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro trims to the first 100 customers. Last month, Ola Electric rolled out test rides for the electric scooters for customers who had already made bookings, after several delays. Deliveries of the Ola electric scooter were initially slated to begin from October 2021.

The top-spec Ola S1 Pro is available in a choice of 10 colours, and get additional features like hill hold, cruise control and voice assistant

Ola Electric is building the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, with an all-women work crew, at its Futurefactory
Ola Electric had originally opened reservations for its electric scooters in mid-September. The company launched Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in August 2021. The Ola S1 is priced at Rs. 85,099, going up to Rs. 1.10 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi after FAME II subsidies) for the S1 Pro. Both variants differ in performance, range, number of riding modes, and number of colours, although the basic design is the same.

The Ola S1 electric scooter gets maximum range of 181 km with maximum top speed of 115 kmph in the S1 Pro variant
The S1 Pro is more feature-loaded over the base S1 variant, as it gets features like Voice Control, Hill Hold and Cruise Control. The Ola S1 offers a top speed of 90 kmph and a range of 121 km. The top-spec Ola S1 Pro comes with a claimed top speed of 115 kmph with a range of 181 km.
