Ola Electric has again opened bookings for its electric scooters, S1 and S1 Pro. Bookings have been opened again on Ola Electric's official website for an amount of Rs. 499. In September 2021, Ola Electric announced combined sales worth Rs. 1,100 crore in just two days. The next purchase window for Ola electric scooters will open again on November 1, 2021. The company began online sales for its electric scooter, which is offered in two variants - S1, and S1 Pro, on September 15, 2021. Deliveries for this batch of scooters will begin in October across 1,000 cities and towns.

Ola Electric Sells Scooters Worth Over Rs. 1100 Crore In Just 2 Days

The Ola S1 is priced at Rs. 1 lakh, while the S1 Pro is priced at Rs. 1.30 Lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). The prices could further go down at the time of delivery, depending on state subsidies on EVs across the country. In states with more EV subsidies, the Ola S1 will be more affordable than many petrol-powered scooters. In Delhi, the Ola S1 is priced at Rs. 85,099, while in Gujarat, the S1 is priced at Rs. 79,999. The base model Ola S1 gets a top speed of 90 kmph and a range of up to 121 km on a single charge. The S1 Pro, on the other hand, offers a top speed of around 115 kmph and a range of up to 181 km.

The top-spec Ola S1 Pro is available in a choice of 10 colours, and get additional features like hill hold, cruise control and voice assistant

Ola Electric is also building its Futurefactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, which is spread over 500 acres and will have a production capacity of 10 million vehicles per year when fully completed. Ola says that it will be the largest, most advanced 2W factory in the world, and it has already completed phase 1 construction and is currently undergoing production trials. The Ola Futurefactory will also be the world's largest factory that is entirely run by women. At full scale, it will have over 10,000 women employed.
