The Corolla was first introduced back in 1966 and it was already the best-selling car worldwide by 1974. In 2021, this car reached the milestone of selling over 50 million units over twelve generations. Over the years, the Corolla has gone through various reiterations but at its core, it still maintains the main design. The Nissan Sunny, the Honda Civic, and the Mitsubishi Lancer were some of the few rides that have given competition to this incredible machine.

The Suburban holds the record for being the longest-running nameplate in the automotive world. This beauty from General Motors was first introduced in the year 1935 and was one of the first all-metal bodied station wagons in production. Over the years, it has only grown in size and is now one of the biggest full-size SUVs available out there. The 2022 model comes with a 6.2-litre V8 engine and grabs plenty of eyeballs for its luxury features.

The F-Series pickup truck was recently introduced in an all-electric iteration but its first model was introduced seven decades ago in 1947. With newer models, the shape of the vehicle kept changing but its main purpose and essence as a pickup truck remains unchanged. It holds the record for spending 39 consecutive years as the best-selling truck in America and for 34 of those years, it was the best-selling vehicle overall in America.

Another American car on this list is the Chevrolet Corvette, the lean mean machine that has been under production since 1953. The Corvette has maintained its stunning appearance and has managed to keep being the ultimate speed demon over the decades. Despite such longevity, the Corvette has seldom disappointed buyers.

The first-gen model of the Land Cruiser was introduced back in 1951. Since then, it has been produced in convertible, hardtop, station wagon as well as cab body styles. What makes the Land Cruiser special is its reliability and longevity. It's the car's consistency in providing both over the decades that has made it so hugely popular. In Australia, it is the best-selling body-on-frame, four-wheel-drive vehicle. In fact, Toyota extensively tests the Land Cruiser in the Australian outback, which is among the toughest terrains in the world.
