The Suburban holds the record for being the longest-running nameplate in the automotive world. This beauty from General Motors was first introduced in the year 1935 and was one of the first all-metal bodied station wagons in production. Over the years, it has only grown in size and is now one of the biggest full-size SUVs available out there. The 2022 model comes with a 6.2-litre V8 engine and grabs plenty of eyeballs for its luxury features.

With newer models, the shape of the vehicle kept changing but its main purpose and essence as a pickup truck remains unchanged. It holds the record for spending 39 consecutive years as the best-selling truck in America and for 34 of those years, it was the best-selling vehicle overall in America.

The first-gen model of the Land Cruiser was introduced back in 1951. Since then, it has been produced in convertible, hardtop, station wagon as well as cab body styles. What makes the Land Cruiser special is its reliability and longevity. It's the car's consistency in providing both over the decades that has made it so hugely popular. In Australia, it is the best-selling body-on-frame, four-wheel-drive vehicle. In fact, Toyota extensively tests the Land Cruiser in the Australian outback, which is among the toughest terrains in the world.
