Here are few pros and cons if you are planning to by a used Datsun Go.
Pros
- The cabin looks simple and is well-equipped as well. It sports black interior and upholstery, carbon fibre pattern inserts, part-digital/part-analogue instrument cluster, and of course, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also comes with navigation, voice recognition Bluetooth, USB, AUX-IN connectivity.

- Under the hood, both the Datsun GO gets a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder BS6 compliant petrol engine which feels adequate for city usage. It is mated to a five-speed manual or an optional CVT automatic transmission. 67 bhp at 5000 rpm and 104 Nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm. The CVT automatic version, on the other hand, makes more power at 76 bhp at 6000 rpm, while developing the same peak torque of 104 Nm, but at 4400 rpm.
Cons
- In terms of build quality, the Datsun Go doesn't feel as solid and even the shut lines or the feel while shutting the door isn't reassuring.

The1.2-litre engine in the Datsun Go doesn't feel as punchy on the highway.
- In terms of looks too, the car doesn't look very fresh. The newer models does get features like LED daytime running lamps housed within the front bumper, 14-inch alloy wheels, large taillamps, and muscular rear bumpers, but those elements are missing on the previous model which is more likely to be available in the used car market.
- The 1.2-litre doesn't feel as punchy on the highway.
