The 911T is based on the standard Carrera rear-wheel-drive variant where the 'T' means 'touring'. The 911T packs in the turbocharged 6-cylinder boxer engine that makes 367 bhp of peak power and 450 Nm of peak torque. 0-100 comes up in 4.5-seconds which is actually faster that the PDK version by 0.1 seconds. Top speed is 290 kmph. The 911T packs in a whole bunch of additional features and tech as compared to the standard 911 Carrera. You get the PASM or Porsche Active Suspension Management as standard and the whole car now sits lower by 20mm. The 911T also gets the sport chrono package, a short shift lever and optional rear wheel steering. The 911T is also lighter by 20 kg than the standard Carrera and while the manual gearbox is the exciting bit, you can opt for one with a more sensible PDK automatic.

Visually too there are a few additions on the standard Porsche 911T. The sportscar gets a new front lip, standard 20-inch wheels that have been painted grey and a 911T decal that runs across the side of the car. The 911T also gets the sports exhaust as standard and blacked out exhaust tips. The badges on the car, including the Porsche badges have all been finished in the same grey that the wheels have been painted in. The rear engine cover also gets a set of distinct slats while the electronic spoiler comes as standard too. Expect Porsche to offer the 911T in India although it remains to be seen if the manual gearbox will be offered as well.
