The second-gen model of the 911 is powered by a flat-six power unit that puts out 430bhp, an increase of 30bhp over the Carrera S. With the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) double-clutch gearbox, the 911 Carrera GTS returns 11.50Km/l and sprints from 0-100Km/h in 4 seconds. The cabriolet takes 4.2 seconds to touch the 100Km/h from standstill. The new model offers a top speed of 318.65Km/h when mated to the standard 7-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Now, for the design changes: the new 911 Carrera GTS features the 911 Carrera 4 body with wide-flared rear wheel arches and a wider track. Smoked bi-Xenon headlights, Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS) and special trim elements work their magic on the car's front fascia. Moving on to the rear, the air intake grille on the rear engine lid sports bespoke GTS black trim strips and black chrome-plated exhaust tailpipes. The new 911 Carrera GTS also gets 20-inch alloy wheels with centre-lock mechanism as standard.

In terms of interiors, the car gets exclusive Alcantara interior with leather-trimmed sport seats.

Porsche has made the new 911 Carrera GTS models available to order in the UK and Ireland from today, though the deliveries will start in November, 2014.
