Pranjal Anand Wins 2022 Red Bull Kart Fight, Wins All-Expenses Paid Trip To An F1 Grand Prix

Promoting motorsport at the grassroots level, the 2022 Red Bull Kart Fight Championship concluded over the weekend in Baroda, Gujarat, and Lucknow boy was crowned the winner Pranjal Anand after an impressive finale. The amateur go-kart tournament saw participation from over 350 enthusiasts from across five cities. Putting his best performance out there, Pranjal Anand has won an all-expenses-paid trip to a Formula 1 Grand Prix later in the year as well as a special Red Bull Racing experience.

Pranjal Anand completed the race with a time of 10 min and was the fastest driver of the day with the best lap time of 00.29.135s
Red Bull Kart Fight 2022 National Finals Winner Pranjal Anand, from Lucknow and qualified from Vadodara said, "I am thrilled about my win; it feels great to have won the National finals of Red Bull Kart Fight 2022. The competition was very tough but I was confident of putting on a good show and gave my best. After 5 years, I finally won, so grateful. In the next edition, I will try to defend my position. Red Bull Kart Fight is a great platform for amateur racers like me as it gives us wings to get noticed and an opportunity to witness the Formula 1 Grand Prix later this year."
Red Bull Athlete Mira Erda, the first Indian female racer to win internationally in Formula 4, said, "It is heart-warming to witness an enthralling National Final today. The National Finals saw 2 participants from each of the 5 cities competing for the prize
The fifth edition of the championship saw two participants competing from each city in the final round including Mumbai, Vadodara, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. The national finals took place at Erda's Speedway in Baroda. Pranjal Anand completed the race with a time of 10 minutes and was also the fastest driver of the day with the best lap time of 00.29.135s. Dhruv Chavan from Mumbai finished second with a time of 10m15s and the best lap time of 00.30.183s. Mohammed Ridhaf from Kochi finished third with a time of 10m17s and the fastest lap time of 00.29.534s.
Red Bull Kart Fight aims to provide amateur racers and racing enthusiasts the chance to experience the "pro" side of karting and get a competitive but fun experience down at the track. The winner also gets a chance to watch an F1 race in person at some of the world's best tracks.
