Skoda Octavia Anniversary Edition Launched; Priced at Rs. 15.45 Lakh

In a bid to increase its market share in the premium car segment, Skoda India had introduced the Style Plus on the Octavia and brimmed it up to the top with features. After adding the features, the price of the car went up to Rs. 20 lakh, but now the festive season seems to have made it a little cheaper. The company has launched an Anniversary Edition of the Octavia which has the same features as the Style Plus trim and has priced it at Rs. 15.45 lakh (ex-showroom Maharashtra)
In addition to features offered on the Elegance trim, the Anniversary Edition will get engine keyless entry, engine start-stop button, two rear side airbags (8 airbags in total) Smartlink mobile phone connectivity system and paddle shifters. All these features had been included in the Style Plus variant.

There are no mechanical changes made to it. Being the top-end trim, it is offered with the same 1.8-litre TFSI petrol and 2.0-litre TDI diesel engines that power the Elegance trim. While the 1.8-litre TSI petrol engine (178bhp 250Nm) comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the 2.0-litre TDI diesel (141bhp, 320Nm) is coupled with a 6-speed DSG gearbox.
