Skoda has released new design sketches of its upcoming Vision 7S concept giving us an idea of how the car will looks like. The original teaser released earlier in March this year gave us an idea of its boxy silhouette which looks quite different than the current model range. The new design language is called "Modern Solid" and the midsize car is likely to be sold both as a liftback and wagon, while the next-gen Superb coming next year is likely to adopt it first. The sketches do give away its butch stance courtesy muscular front end dominated by bold butterfly grille and is further complemented by chunkier claddings and bash plate. The profile boasts a solid shoulder line while the rear too looks sharp featuring sleek taillights and sculpted tailgate.2 2022 08 23 T12 28 35 691 Z

Earlier this month, Skoda also released a new teaser of the Vision 7S giving us a glimpse of its interior design and we must say that it looks rather futuristic. It showed a vertically mounted infotainment screen, a first for the brand, which will give access to a host of infotainment features. There still will be separate buttons for the climate control system rather than being integrated into the gigantic display. The rectangular digital driver's display is easy to read as Skoda has designed a new steering wheel flattened at the top and bottom.1 2022 08 16 T12 31 32 373 Z 01e6ca534d 2022 08 23 T12 28 03 927 Z

It goes without saying that the new Skoda Vision 7S will be fully electric. It features a seven-seat configuration with an interesting 2+2+2 layout and a child seat integrated into the full-length center console between the first and two rows of seats. The car also gives an idea of Skoda's new design language and it could preview one of the three EVs coming before the end of 2030. The world premiere is scheduled to take place on August 30 when we'll get to see the car for the first time.
