There's A World Record For Changing Car Tyres in Motion. Here's Proof

- Manuel Zoldan & Gianluca Folco set a new world record.
- The Italian duo successfully managed to change tyres while in motion.
- Folco completed the task in just 1 minute 17.64 seconds.
The Guinness Book of World Records usually lists the latest records that occur in various parts of the world. Not infrequently the record that is created occurs in a unique moment. One of them is seen in the video below. In essence, this is the skill of putting tyres on a car. However, if you just put the tyres on, it's certainly less challenging. So, the challenge this time is to quickly put the tires on the running car! Any guesses on how long it took to change tyres?
Gianluca Folco quickly climbed out the window as Zoldan lifted the BMW on two running side wheels.

For starters, let's ignore the small number of people who say that changing tyres on a moving car is a common thing. In this case, they may not know that it is a competitive thing. This Italian duo set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest tire change on a car, in motion! Remember, this is a new Guinness World Record. That means there is a long record to beat. It's not something out of the ordinary, it's competitive.
Here are the specifications. According to the video description, we see Manuel Zoldan driving the old BMW. Meanwhile, his colleague Gianluca Folco sat in the passenger seat. That is, Folco started from the passenger seat. After that, he quickly climbed out the window as Zoldan lifted the BMW on two running side wheels. Rule number one when changing tires while moving-- the wheels in question obviously can't move.
While Zoldan slowly circled the floor with a BMW balanced on two wheels, Folco removed the stationary front wheels and swapped them for door-mounted ones.

He's got the tools, he's got the talent, and he gets the job done in no time. Folco completed the task and jumped from the car in just 1 minute 17.64 seconds, beating the old record by more than 13 seconds. It's great teamwork, as the Zoldan also displays excellent car controls to keep the BMW balanced at slow speeds. What else can we say other than congratulations?
