Tata Motors Launches Revotron 1.2T Engine Campaign

Tata Motors today launched a nation-wide campaign to showcase its new Revotron engine. Tata is looking to engage customers and create brand awareness with this campaign for its 1.2-litre MPFi Turbocharged petrol engine, the Revotron 1.2T. The national campaign, which commenced today, began with the unveiling of the Revotron Lab simultaneously in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ludhiana and Hyderabad. The inauguration of the campaign was also attended India's first F1 driver, Narain Karthikeyan.
Ranjit Yadav, President and Head, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, said, "The Revotron 1.2T will power our upcoming cars, the Zest and the Bolt. To narrate this exciting technology story, in the most impactful way, we are engaging with our customers through various exciting platforms like the Labs, the multi-drive-mode game, holograms and unique digital and on-ground activations."
The Revotron Lab brings together futuristic design with interactive elements and comprises of primarily three elements: the Binaural Sound Zone, the Revotron Challenge game, and the Interactive Touch Glass. While the first offers a virtual sound experience, the Revotron Challenge game is a futuristic 3D game which allows a participant to travel in a Zest where they can experience the various aspects of the engine.
Finally, the Interactive Touch Glass will educate customers on the benefits of the Revotron engine. The other attraction was the Augmented Reality application, where visitors can click a picture with a virtual Narain Karthikeyan in the Lab.

Besides the Lab, Tata Motors will also install hi-tech Revotron Holograms in over 75 dealerships across India. Under the purview of this activity, a virtual image of Narain Karthikeyan will host customers and explain features about the engine and its functions.
The Revotron 1.2T incorporates latest know-how like multi-drive modes, and Advance Engine Management Systems (AMS) that provides a digitally precise control for vehicle performance and emissions and offers the design of reciprocating components to ensure the best out of every drop of fuel. The engine offers first-in-class multi-drive modes i.e. Sport, Eco and City and high boost turbocharger, along with a performance output of 89bhp and 140Nm of torque.
