We go to concerts, hear maestros sing or create unparalleled symphonies and then fall into a pit of catharsis (yes, I am bringing Plato up) or get inspired to the core. Inspiration can be found in the oddest of places. In this case, music from engine exhaust notes. B6, a China based electronic music disc-jockey, found inspiration in the exhaust notes of Jenson Button's McLaren Mercedes MP4-29 and created a sound track. He put together the delightful sounds of Button's Mobil1-lubricated Formula One car to form a sweet mechanical tune that will only leave you asking for more.

Here's the video of the collaboration:

This collaboration is only one of the many interesting endeavours undertaken by Mobil1 to give folks a chance to experience motorsports off the track. Out of the several 'stunts' by the synthetic engine oil manufacturer, the 'Carwash stunt' and the '1st to work stunt' were our favourite.

The carwash stunt involved the Mobil1 team giving unsuspecting carwash customers the 'pitstop' experience and a rather casual rendezvous with McLaren Mercedes driver Jenson Button. Watch the video here:

Moving on to the '1st to work' stunt, this one involved the Mobil1 team treating the first worker to arrive in an office car park like he had just won a Formula 1 race. Here is the video:

What a truly ingenious way to celebrate motorsports!
