Zoomcar Hosts Collectively Earn Rs. 200 Crores Through The Rental Car Platform

- Zoomcar introduced Zoomcar host in December 2021
- A host listing their vehicle for 15 days a month can earn up to Rs. 50,000.
- Zoomcar expects hosts to earn over Rs. 1,000 crores in the next 12 months.
Bengaluru-based car rental company Zoomcar has announced that people hosting vehicles on the platform have collectively earned around Rs. 200 crore since the launch of the programme. The company introduced Zoomcar host in December 2021, allowing individuals to host their cars on the platform to earn an additional passive income. Zoomcar says it has witnessed steady growth since its launch of the programme and is expecting expects hosts to earn over Rs. 1,000 crores in the next 12 months. The company says that an average host who shares their vehicle on Zoomcar for 15 days in a month earns up to Rs. 50,000 per month.

Zoomcar says that an average host who shares their vehicle on Zoomcar for 15 days in a month earns up to Rs. 50,000 per month.
Zoomcar currently offers over 1,000 unique SKUs (stock keeping units) across more than 40 cities including transit points like airports and railway stations. It has a comprehensive portfolio of cars ranging across different categories like - Hatchbacks, Sedans, MUVs, SUVs, EVs, and Luxury cars. This includes both its own fleet and vehicles hosted by individuals. Zoomcar says that approximately 15 per cent of the hosts have listed multiple cars on the Zoomcar sharing marketplace, and the age bracket for Zoomcar hosts varies from the mid-20s to mid-50s.
