Harley-Davidson Launches Three New Motorcycles in India

Harley-Davidson added three motorcycles to its already existing portfolio of 10 today. The American cruiser brand introduced the Breakout, the Street Glide Special and a new flagship for India, the CVO Limited.
So let's start with the flagship model
Harley-Davidson CVO Limited

Finally Harley-Davidson decided to bring in its Limited from the 'Custom Vehicle Operations' department, better known as the CVO family, hand crafted originals. The first obvious thing about this bike is that it is huge and has a control panel up front which gives it a cockpit-like feel.
There are two large speakers, four clocks, a 'Boom' LCD display on that massive dashboard and if that wasn't enough, it takes care of the pillion as well. The pillion backrest with arm-rests adds to the luxury quotient. There is also a large batwing fairing and useful luggage compartments. The CVO Limited comes priced at Rs. 49.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
Harley-Davidson Breakout
The Breakoout is born into the Softail family and yes as the name suggests it is kind of a rebel. The look of the bike is old school because of that hidden rear suspension. Old school yes, but it gets agressivelly positioned handlebars which we see missing out in the Softail. The massive 240mm rear tyre is the same as we have seen the Night Rod Special. So, it's trendy, minimalist and in every way unique. The Harley Davidson Breakout costs Rs 16.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and will be the only one of these three bikes to be assembled at Harley's India assembly plant located in Bawal, Haryana.
Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special

Well, with the Glide Special Harley-Davidson's Touring family will finally make its debut in India. The Street Glide Special comes with a linked ABS braking system and the adjustable hydraulic suspension. As seen in the CVO Limited, the Street Glide Special also comes with a 'Boom' LCD display (infotainment system). Panniers fitted to the side are also form part of this cruiser. Harley-Davidson has priced the Street Glide Special is priced at Rs. 29.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
"The motorcycles launched today have always had an incredibly passionate following in India, making this is an exciting event for our customers and our company," said Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson India. "Our latest offerings demonstrate Harley-Davidson's unwavering commitment to delivering world-class products that cater to our customers' demands in India and reinforce our position as the leader in the premium motorcycle segment."
