Jaguar XF 2.2-litre Diesel Executive Edition Launched; Priced at Rs. 45.12 Lakh

Jaguar has launched a new edition of Jaguar XF 2.2L Diesel cand has called it the Executive Edition. The new variant is low on features when compared to the standard 2.2-litre diesel XF but then again it is also Rs. 4.5 lakh cheaper. Jaguar has priced this new variant at Rs 45.12 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai, Pre Octroi).
Under the hood is the same 2.2-litre diesel motor which boasts of an output of 187bhp and develops 450Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. When we said, it was low specced, we didn't mean that there weren't any, and the new variant comes equipped with an array of features including a navigation system, a full size spare wheel, colour touchscreen and Jaguar Smart Key system with keyless start.
Inside, the Jaguar XF Executive Edition gets features like basic interior mood lighting, electronic front seats and electrically powered exterior mirrors. However, what is misses though is a rear camera, electric sunroof and even a TV tuner which were part of the equipment in the standard XF 2.2L diesel.
Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover India, said, "We are excited to introduce Jaguar XF 2.2L Diesel Executive Edition, at an attractive price point. It will enable us to access a wider audience which consists of discerning and premium Indian customers who have always loved the brand, aspired to own this sedan and be seen in it."
