Mercedes Launches CLA 45 AMG in Malaysia, India Launch by Next Quarter

Following the launch of CLA 200 in Malaysia, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has introduced the limited edition of CLA 45 AMG in the country. The vehicle is available for sale at RM 3,92,888 (Around Rs 72 lakh) in the Malaysian market. The Indian market is also awaiting the launch of new CLA 45 AMG which is likely to be rolled out during second quarter of current fiscal.
Mercedes-Benz is offering CLA 45 AMG limited edition in Night Package which comprise of special red accents on the grille, wheels and door mirrors and 19 inch matte black multi-spoke alloys. Besides this, the vehicle also comes with 'Edition 1' plaque beneath the gearlever and matte grey stripping on the side of the car. However, the vehicle misses out on the grunting AMG performance exhaust that Malaysia bound A 45 AMG flaunts.
The company has also put on offer optional carbon fibre trim for which one has to pay extra amount of RM 3,000 close to Rs 55,000. Under the hood is a hand built turbocharged 2.0 litre engine that pumps out a maximum power output of 355 Bhp along with a top torque of 450 Nm. Vehicle does 0 to 100 kmph in 4.6 seconds and reaches a limited top speed of 250 kmph. The engine is paired to a seven-speed AMG speedshift dual-clutch AMG 4MATIC transmission.
