Kia Carnival 2020 was launched in India on February 5 at the Auto Expo 2020. It is the second popular product of the automobile company after the Kia Seltos. The luxurious car price ranges between Rs. 24.95 lakh and Rs. 33.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is available in three variants: Premium, Limousine Prestige, and. The car offers 9, 8 and 7 seating capacity. The luxurious MUV comes with a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The vehicle has a maximum power capacity of 200 PS and a torque of 440 nm. It is offered with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The mileage of the Kia Carnival is 14.11 kmpl. The automatic variant also has the mileage.
The stand-out features of the vehicle are the 10.1-inch touchscreen for the rear seat occupants, ventilated driver seat, dual sunroof, UVO connecting feature and wireless charger. Experts review this car as an innovative creation with its versatile cabin. It has the most comfortable seating capacity and a boot space of 540. It is also considered as a driver’s delight due to its cornering brake control and gives an impressive ride quality.
Kia Carnival comes in three colours: Steel Silver, Glacier White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl. The vehicle has a length of 5115mm, a width of 1985mm, and a wheelbase of 3060mm.
The key features are the power steering, power windows front, cruise control, navigation system, anti-lock braking system, voice control, air conditioner, smart access card entry, keyless entry, driver and passenger airbags, alloy wheels, fog lights-front and multi-function steering wheel.
It is as per the BS6 emission norm compliance. The safety features are brake assist, anti-theft alarm, child safety locks, six airbags, impact beams, seat belt warning, engine immobilizer, Electronic Stability Control, EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, hill assist and more. The entertainment and communication features are radio, wireless phone charging, eight speakers, USB & Auxiliary input, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, rear entertainment system, etc.
The direct competitors of the Kia Carnival automobile are the Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Vellfire, and Mercedes Benz V-Class. Its fourth-gen Carnival is expected to launch in India by 2022.
