2021 Kia Seltos X Line - First Look | New Kia Seltos SUV | carandbike

Shortly after crossing the 2-lakh sales mark in India, the Kia Seltos gets a brand-new trim added to its line-up. The company is all set to launch a new X line version of the SUV, the concept of which was shown at the last Auto Expo. The Matte Graphite grey exteriors have seen the reduced usage of chrome while the car also gets orange accents at many places. This variant also becomes the only car in the segment with 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside the only change is the new seat upholstery. The X Line will be the most expensive variant of the compact SUV. #Kia #Seltos #Xline #compactSUV #firstlook #SUV #carreview #carandbike 0:00 - Introduction 0:26 - Seltos X Line Exterior Analysis 2:11 - Seltos X Line Interior Analysis ➡️Kia India has unveiled a new top-end variant of its popular compact SUV - the Kia Seltos. Called the Kia Seltos X-Line, the SUV was first showcased as a pre-production concept at the 2020 Auto Expo. ➡️Now, earlier in 2019, the Korean carmaker did unveil an X-Line concept at the LA Auto Show, however, that one was a more off-road specific model that came with rally lights, off-road tyres on custom alloys, and a front-mounted winch. ➡️The Seltos X-Line showcased in India, on the other hand, is just a more aggressive-looking, dark-themed version of the regular Seltos. ➡️The higher-spec GTX+ variants of the Seltos are priced between ₹ 16.65 lakh to ₹ 17.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the X-Line trim will be positioned above them. ➡️The X-Line comes in a new dark themed paint job, and Kia is calling it the exclusive matter granite exterior, and the rest of the styling bits are treated in glossy black finish. ➡️Engine options for the Kia Seltos X-Line are likely to include the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol motor and the 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former is tuned to make 138 bhp and 242 Nm of peak torque and is likely to come with the 7-speed DCT automatic unit as standard. ➡️The oil burner is tuned to make 113 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque and will come mated to a 6-speed automatic torque converter unit.
