Volkswagen Vento 1.0 TSI 2020 | Review | Price | Specs | Features | carandbike
The 2020 Volkswagen Vento was introduced this year with a new 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine, which will be the only engine on offer. While visually the car remains similar to the facelifted model that was launched in September 2019, the addition of the new engine gives the compact sedan a fresh touch. It’s the same engine that does duty in the Vento’s sibling, Polo and their Czech cousin Skoda Rapid, and in India it comes with the 6-speed manual gearbox. Recently, VW also added a 6-speed automatic torque converter to the mix. In addition to a strong build, and excellent driving mannerisms, the Vento also comes with a decent number of features. The list includes – LED headlamps with DRLs, LED taillamps, a flat-bottom steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, among more.
