It is not ideal for buyers who are looking for performance, automatic convenience or cutting-edge technology. But for large families who value comfort and predictable ownership, the Carens is still a good and sensible choice if picked with the right expectations.

The Eeco has been a workhorse for the Maruti Suzuki brand in the country for many years be it for ferrying passengers or loading a lot of cargo. It is really practical owing to features like less price, superior interior space and high fuel efficiency. Where it falters is lack of good ride quality and not having enough safety features. A missing strong rival means the field is pretty much clear for the Eeco.
