2022 Lexus NX 350h India Launch Details Announced

- Pre-bookings opened in January 2022.

Japanese luxury automaker Lexus will introduce the 2022 Lexus NX 350h on March 9, 2022, in a choice of a single base version. The pre-bookings for the 2022 Lexus NX 350h opened earlier this year in January, and Siddharth even drove the all-wheel-drive version of the popular model in Los Angeles, California. The 2022 Lexus NX 350h is now in its second generation, sharing its underpinnings with the fifth-generation Toyota RAV4, as both are based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA-K) platform.

The 2022 Lexus NX 350h features an aggressive front design with a new blacked-out spindle grille, sleek headlamps featuring L-shaped DRLs, and C-shaped air intakes with fog lamps which accentuates the overall look. At the back, the new Lexus NX 350h gets an elongated light bar, located across the centre of the vehicle united with the independently positioned L-shaped taillamps. In terms of dimensions, the 2022 Lexus NX 350h measures 4,661 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, 1,661 mm in height. The wheelbase sits at 2,690 mm.

Inside, the 2022 Lexus NX 350h sports a neatly designed cabin based on the Tazuna Concept. It will come with a 9.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a 14-inch navigation system, wireless charging, a premium sound system with 10 speakers, and much more to enhance the overall experience.

As far as safety is concerned, the 2022 Lexus NX 350h will be equipped with advanced safety technologies like an e-latch system, safe exit assist, panoramic view monitor, advanced driver assistance technology with an advanced park with the remote function, pre-crash safety, front cross-traffic alert, radar cruise control, lane departure alert, lane change assist, and proactive driving assist. It will also be equipped with ABS with EBD, traction control, front and rear parking sensors, and more.

The 2022 Lexus NX 350h uses a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder engine coupled to a 259-volt lithium-ion battery, that combined develops 236 bhp of maximum power. The transmission is an electronically controlled CVT, with paddle shifters sending power to all four wheels.
