1. New Engine

The new Triumph Tiger 1200 is powered by the 1,160 cc, inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor gets a T-plane triple crank with an uneven firing order that promises to enhance low-end tractability and responsiveness. It gets a lightweight low maintenance shaft drive. The motor has also been optimised for a more responsive mid and top-end power delivery, along with improved acceleration. Triumph also says the engine offers a more characterful and distinctive exhaust note. The three-pot mill produces 147 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 130 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a shaft drive system with a 6-speed gearbox in place.

3. New Design

The Triumph Tiger 1200 looks sharper, sleeker and more chiselled than before. The new headlamp unit looks sharp and comes with an integrated LED DRL, while the semi-fairing, split saddle and tall-set exhaust scream adventure.
