  • Updated Streetfighter V4 to be one of 7 new Ducati unveils
  • Minor cosmetic changes, updated gear ratios expected
  • 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 expected to be unveiled soon

Ducati is planning a series of new model unveils from September 2022, with at least seven new motorcycles, and one of these is likely to be the updated Ducati Streetfighter V4, which has been spotted on test now. The spy shots of the upcoming Streetfighter V4 reveal a few cosmetic details, not major, but notable. The fuel tank is expected to be slightly bigger, with a 1 litre bump in capacity, and there are more aerodynamic side panels, as well as bigger winglets. The fuel tank also gets recesses seen on the updated Panigale V4, and the same are likely to be carried over to the naked.

There are little cosmetic changes to differentiate the 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 from the current model.

Ducati recently updated its flagship Panigale V4 with tweaked gear ratios, with first to fifth gear being tighter with a longer sixth gear for better top speed. However, there aren’t likely to be any significant performance changes, with peak power in the region of 208 bhp, same as the current Streetfighter V4. The Panigale V4 got a series of electronics upgrades for 2022, and these are also likely to be introduced in the Streetfighter V4, as well as changes to the exhaust and engine calibration. The suspension remains unchanged, but the updated Streetfighter V4 may also get a 4 mm higher pivot point for the swingarm, like the Panigale V4, which is said to increase the anti-squat effect under power.

The Streetfighter V4 is expected to come in a base model with 43 mm Showa BPF fork, and Sachs rear shock, seen on the spy shots. A higher-spec Streetfighter V4 S is also expected, with Ohlins electronically-controlled suspension, and different three-spoke forged rims. The overall design and silhouette though are expected to remain unchanged on the 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4.
