Did you know, international celebrities Brad Pitt, Billy Joel, Jay Leno and Jonty Rhodes have one thing in common - they are all motorbike enthusiasts. And all of them have a Royal Enfield motorcycle in their garage.
Let's take a look at these international celebrities who own Royal Enfield bikes.
Jay Leno
Jay Leno's love for motorcycles and cars is something the world isn't unfamiliar with. The famous American comedian and host of The Tonight Show is a big fan of Royal Enfield motorcycles, and his Big Dog Garage warmly accommodates a Royal Enfield Bullet G5 Deluxe. The G5 Deluxe comes with a 499cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled OHV engine that produces 27.5 brake horsepower and 41.3 Nm of torque at 4000 revolutions per minute. The motorcycle is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The automobile enthusiast had also reviewed the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and a Continental GT 650 on his YouTube channel Jay Lenon's Garage. And after he took a quick ride on the Continental GT 650, he looked pretty impressed with the features such as the speedometer, fuel gauge, linear throttle response, tachometer, vibration-free handlebars and the perfect height of the bike.
Jonty Rhodes
The famous South African cricketer known for his mastery in fielding owns a Royal Enfield 500 Classic in India. He was spotted many times sporting the bike on the streets of Mumbai. With an AHO (Automatic Headlamp On) facility, the Bullet 500 is powered by a 499cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 27.2 brake horsepower and a torque of 41.3 Nm. The 2017 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 comes with a 13.5 litre fuel tank. Rhodes, accompanied by his wife, was spotted visiting a Royal Enfield showroom in Colaba, Mumbai, where he tried a Royal Enfield Desert Storm.
Brad Pitt
Amongst his collection of luxury cars, aircraft and bikes, sits an old school Royal Enfield Bullet 350. The Hollywood heartthrob had it imported to the USA decades ago. Brad Pitt loves bikes, and he believes that riding on motorcycles allows him to keep a low profile, especially when he tries to keep away from the paparazzi.
Billy Joel
Music composer, songwriter and singer Billy Joel is a motorcycle enthusiast. He has a big collection of motorcycles in Sag Harbor and his vintage Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Military is a smash hit. He loves the Indian-built bike so much that he even takes it out for rides on his music tours. The bike model is powered by a 499cc single-cylinder which produces 22bhp and 35Nm of torque and comes with a 14.5-litre fuel tank.
