Bajaj Auto has released the monthly sales numbers for January 2021, during which the company witnessed an 11 per cent decline in domestic sales. Last month the company's total domestic sales, two-wheelers and three-wheelers combined, stood at 1,70,757 vehicles, as against 1,92,872 units sold in January 2020.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India reported its sales figures for January 2021 with 416,716 units sold in January 2021, registering an 11.39 per cent jump in volumes year-on-year.
Suzuki Motorcycle India sales stood at 57,004 units in the domestic market in January 2021, registering a 2 per cent growth year-on-year. Exports, on the other hand, stood at 7865 units last month, witnessing a 19.38 per cent drop.
The first month of 2021 is already over and it has been a somewhat of a flat month for OEMs. Royal Enfield posted a growth of five per cent in its domestic sales for India in January 2021.
