Volkswagen T5-Based Camper Van Can be Your Home

Based on the Volkswagen Transporter T5, the VW T5 Campervan DoubleBack is the highest level in custom VW campers from Danbury Motorcaravans. It might look like an ordinary caravan but it clearly is not. Its interior is more or less like a scene from a sci-fi movie as it boasts of a very impressive and secretive design which helps it to double its living space at the touch of a button.
The T5 itself is 19 feet long and with the addition of the 6 feet pod, the T5 Doubleback is transformed into a 25 feet long home on wheels. The pod weighs just 130kgs and is made of aluminium composite which as we all know is a very lightweight and durable material. It's capable of holding 300kgs but with the corner footings down it can hold close to 600kgs.

The inside of the pod reveals a luxurious seating for five people which can be rearranged to make a huge bed, with a foldaway table. There is also a place for a fridge which uses a 12V charging point and a small kitchen with two gas burners is also at your disposal.
There is also a drop down bed, so technically, 4 people have space to sleep in the T5 Doubleback. However, what is surprising is that there are only two seating places in the car, but then again you can ask the company for more customizations that suit your style.
I know what you're wondering. How much does it cost? Well, the price for the entire thing is approximately Rs. 52 lakh and we know that is a lot but then again it's home, isn't it?
