One can visit Tiger's Leap and enjoy the extreme pleasure that one gets from the beauty around. There is an iconic Duke's Nose where you can soak in nature's bounty. You can rejuvenate yourself at Bhushi Dam. If you like watching sunsets, Lion's Point is the location for you. A perfect getaway will be incomplete without a trip to Amby Valley. If history is your interest, go get plenty of that at Rajmachi fort. You can delve into history at Karla Caves. If you wish to spend some time in a tranquil atmosphere, you must not miss being at Valvan Dam. You can find a spiritual atmosphere at Narayani Temple at Lonavala. Tiger's Leap
It is 8 km away from Lonavala and is a touristy spot visited by hundreds of visitors every day. Once you're on top of it, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the scenery around. You can also watch the hills of the Western Ghats from here. you can go hiking or trekking from Tiger's Point. Monsoon is the best time to visit this place because the rains and the rumbling clouds present a spectacular vista, no other season can offer.
Duke's Nose
A visit to Duke's Nose should be one of your top items at Lonavala. This place is about 7 km from Lonavala and from here you can view the exotic Sahyadri Ranges. You will not only enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience but also go trekking from here. You can enjoy yourself being in the middle of lush green forest in the vicinity if you just take a walk from here.
Bhushi Dam: An abode of joy
The dam is located on the river Indrayani and the best time to be here is during the monsoons. You will enjoy the river and the rocky terrain out here. This dam is one of the most picturesque in these hill stations. Once you are in the hill station Lonavala that is quaint through the year, you can't resist the temptation to be here in the lap of nature.
Lion's Point
If the setting sun is something that excites you, Lion's Pont is just the right place for you. You can enjoy the magnificence of nature that surrounds this location in the shape of mountains and undulating hills. There are some beautiful valleys too which will draw you to them compulsively. This is the place where you can sit down and watch the cascading waterfalls and listen to the lilting sound of falling water. The views of the majestic mountains and the lush green forest will go down your memory lane and the sound and the visuals will be indelible forever whenever you reminisce the moments spent here.
