Popular film and television actor, Swapnil Joshi, has recently purchased a brand-new Jaguar I-Pace luxury electric SUV. The actor, known for movies like - Duniyadari and Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai, recently posted a bunch of photos and videos of him and his family, on social media, taking delivery of the luxury electric SUV, in Mumbai. In his social media post, Joshi jokingly calls it 'Puma Chi Gadi' a colloquial reference to a vehicle from the Jaguar brand used in Mumbai. Swapnil also thanked Jaguar India for personalising the vehicle for him.

While Swapnil hasn't revealed more details about his new prized possession, according to the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways' Vahan portal, the model in the photos is the top-spec HSE variant of the Jaguar I-Pace EV400. This particular variant is currently priced a little over Rs. 1.12 crore (ex-showroom, India), while its on-road price in Mumbai could go up to Rs. 1.2 crore without customisations.

The model comes in Santorini Black shade, and is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights with signature Daytime Running Lights and Animated Directional Indicators. The electric SUV also comes with 16-way power-adjustable Windsor leather sport seats with memory function, an interactive infotainment system paired with Meridian 3D Surround Sound System, and JLR's Pivi Pro navigation system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SUV also gets safety features like - rear camera, adaptive cruise control with steering assist and a driver condition monitor.

The Jaguar I-Pace EV400 electric SUV is powered by a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering a claimed range of 470 km
In terms of performance, the 2021 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 electric SUV is powered by a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that powers two electric motors, one on each axle. Combined, the electric motors deliver a maximum power output of 294 kW, equivalent to 394 bhp, and it develops a peak torque of 696 Nm. The instant torque output allows the I-Pace to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.8-seconds. Jaguar claims the I-Pace can cover 470 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge, however, in real-world conditions, the electric range is expected to be between 300-400 km. The SUV also comes with an Eco mode and regenerative braking which help improve the range.
Swapnil Joshi would be next seen in the Marathi language horror film, Bali, directed by Vishal Furia. The movie is slated to be released in the theatres on December 9, 2021.
