Alpha Motor Makes Astonishing Claim Of A $36,000 Electric Pick-Up Truck

- The claims of Alpha motor seems dubious as this could be Ponzi scheme
- However, it claims to be unveiling the car at the Petersen Museum soon
- $36,000 for an electric pick up is tough for any manufacturer to commit
Alpha Motor has announced that it is making a $36,000 electric pickup truck. It has even shared renders of the same though has nothing else to back up its claims. The electric truck is slated to be unveiled later this month with production being planned for 2023. The electric pickup truck in question is the Alpha Motor Electric Wolf which will feature specs like 443 kilometres of range on a single charge. It features a retro inspired design, a far cry from the cyberpunk Tesla Cybertruck.

The strange thing about this new company is that it hasn't shared much information but has made an audacious claim of a $36,000 electric pickup truck with pretty decent range. But when one goes to LinkedIn, it only has two people listed working at the company - one Kevin L who has no work experience and Lawrence Eric Go, a California based copywriter.
What's even more worrying is that Go was associated with Neuron EV which was another dubious California based company EV startup that disappeared since showing off concepts of electric trucks like the Tesla Semi in 2019. Since then it hasn't been seen. Go removed his work experience at Alpha Motor after a couple of publications reported about the startup which makes the situation even more strange.
In the wake of all these developments, Alpha Motors announced that it will unveil the car at the Petersen Automotive Museum on August 24.
"Alpha Motor Corporation is set to exhibit the WOLF Electric Truck at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California beginning August 24, 2021," said the company. "Production of the WOLF Electric Truck is slated to launch in the United States toward the end of 2023," it added. It has also released a teaser video of what's coming, but all of this is quite strange.
