The Storm disc brake variant was introduced with the BS6 transition in 2020 and is currently priced at Rs. 1.12 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The Aprilia Storm 125 draws power from the 124.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 9.78 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 9.60 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The motor is paired with a CVT unit. The model gets telescopic front forks and a single-coil rear spring at the rear. With the disc brake version gone, the model will only be available with drum brakes on either end along with CBS (Combi-Braking System) as standard. Compared to the more expensive Aprilia SR 125, the Aprilia Storm 125 gets knobby Vee tyres.
Other features on the Aprilia Storm 125 include a twin-pod instrument cluster and a 6-litre fuel tank. The model is available in five colour options - red, white, black, yellow, and blue. More recently, Piaggio India hiked prices across its scooter range by up to Rs. 6,728, depending on the model. While the range starts with the Strom 125, the Aprilia SXR 160 remains the brand's most expensive offering priced at Rs. 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
